As a band unit, we believe that making conscious music alone is not enough. The music is only a message -- a catalyst for the action our world so deeply needs. Below you'll find a list of causes we support that are impacting our planet in a positive way for future generations.

The Lakota People's Law Project partners with the Lakota to help secure their rights to autonomy and self-determination, and to renew their culture.

Winnemem Wintu Salmon Restoration
Lakota People's Law Project

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, salmon eggs were taken from the McCloud River to populate the rivers in other parts of the world. When the Shasta Dam was constructed in Northern California, the McCloud River salmon were wiped out and the Winnemem Wintu people thought they had lost their fish forever. They later learned that the eggs that had been taken to Aotearoa (New Zealand) survived in the glacier-fed rivers and existed in healthy numbers. Now we are on a mission to bring home the genetic descendants of the wild chinook salmon.
